UniCredit Bulbank launches a blink donations campaign to support the National Library

UniCredit Bulbank supports the donation campaign for the restoration and modernization of the St. St. Cyril and Methodius National Library, organized jointly with the National Card and Payment Scheme – bcard blink.
As the National Library approaches its 150th anniversary in 2028, every UniCredit Bulbank customer can quickly and conveniently make a donation through the blink mobile number transfer service directly from the Bulbank Mobile app.
The campaign aims to raise funds for the renovation, restoration and modernization of the iconic National Library building – one of Bulgaria’s most significant cultural institutions and a guardian of the nation’s literary heritage. The funds raised will support the restoration of the entrance and interior doors, repairs to the glass roof, upgrades of the plumbing and electrical installations, as well as the modernization of the library’s archival storage facilities.

UniCredit Bulbank customers can support the cause in a few simple steps:

  1. Save the campaign number +359 87 837 9537 (NBKM) in their phone contacts;
  2. Open the Bulbank Mobile app;
  3. Select “blink mobile number transfer”;
  4. Donate an amount of their choice.

Blink donations are fast, secure and fully digital. Mobile number transfers of up to EUR 150 are free of charge, including transfers to accounts held with other banks. Transfers above this amount are subject to the fees and charges set out in the Bank’s Tariff.
Since the launch of the blink donation service in December 2025, UniCredit Bulbank customers have donated more than EUR 26,500 to various causes, including Bulgarian Christmas, the BCause Foundation and others.

The National Library was established in 1878 through donations from Bulgarian citizens and has spent more than a century and a half preserving the country’s cultural and historical heritage.
Today, with a blink donation, everyone can quickly and easily become part of this story and contribute to safeguarding one of Bulgaria’s most valuable cultural institutions.
Every blink matters.
