Nevena Nikse, Chief Financial Officer of UniCredit Bulbank, has been recognized in the “Team Leadership and Talent Development ” category at the 10th anniversary edition of the CFO of the Year competition organized by EY Bulgaria.
In addition to winning her category, Nevena Nikse was also shortlisted in two other categories, placing her among the most highly regarded finance leaders in Bulgaria over the past year.
The jury recognized Nevena Nikse for her contribution to building an engaged, high-performing and resilient team, as well as for introducing management practices that foster transparency, open dialogue and active employee involvement in the development of the finance function.
The recognition comes at a time when finance teams are increasingly moving beyond their traditional reporting and control responsibilities and are establishing themselves as strategic business partners in a dynamic economic and regulatory environment.
