UniCredit Bulbank won six distinctions at the prestigious World’s Best Digital Banks 2026 awards organized by the international financial publication Global Finance in partnership with Infosys. The bank received recognition for both its retail banking digital services and its business banking solutions in Bulgaria.
In the retail banking category, UniCredit was recognized as:
- Best Consumer Digital Bank in Bulgaria
- Best Online Product Offerings in Bulgaria
- Best Online Payments Solution in Bulgaria
In the corporate banking category, UniCredit was named:
- Best Business Digital Bank in Bulgaria
- Best SME Banking Platform in Bulgaria
- Best Trade Finance Services in Bulgaria
These awards recognize UniCredit’s consistent efforts to develop modern digital solutions that make everyday banking easier for individuals and businesses, provide fast and convenient access to financial services, and support companies’ growth in an increasingly dynamic digital environment.

The awards are part of the 27th edition of Global Finance’s international ranking of the world’s best digital banks. Financial institutions are selected from nominations across multiple markets based on criteria such as digital strategy, customer adoption of digital services, the range of products and services offered, and the measurable benefits delivered through digital innovation. Winners from the first round will advance to compete for regional and global awards. These will be announced on 13 October during the World’s Best Digital Banks and AI in Finance Awards ceremony, which this year will take place in Singapore.
