Marina Natale is the new CFO of UniCredit Group. The Board of Directors made the decision for the appointment of Natale, who has been Head of Private Banking Devision of UniCredit Group up to now, upon proposal of the CEO Alessandro Profumo.
Natale is the first lady who will take over the responsible position of a Chief Financial Officer of such a big bank group as UniCredit Group. UniCredit Group is one of the leading European financial groups with activities in 22 countries. Around 174,000 employees work with 40 million clients in more than 10,200 branches of the group.
A few of changes in the top management team of UniCredit Group will have have effect from 1 May 2009 along with the appointment of Natale. The current CFO of UniCredit Group Ranieri de Marchis will become Head of Audit in replacement of Elisabetta Magistretti, who will leave the Group in 2009 due to her retirement.
Mrs Natale will be succeeded in her position as Head of Private Banking Division by Andreas Wöelfer, who will keep his current position as Head of Wealth Management activity in Germany.
