UniCredit Bulbank introduces individual approach to offering SME bank products

The monthly costs to be calculated for every company

UniCredit Bulbank introduces a completely new approach to servicing small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). The largest bank in this country will decide individually for every SME its need for financing and a specially developed computer application will manage the total amount of the bank service costs.

An analysis will be conducted of each specific customer, the products suitable for it will be defined and the impact of using each product for the total bank service price will be simulated. The application was developed jointly with an external partner (renowned international company for financial analysis and advisory services).

Based on the outcome from the analysis for each company, the best individual banking service consistent with the specific requirements of each customer will be offered, including appropriate product offer. By offering the most appropriate products for a company the lowest price of the optimum bank servicing can be achieved.

Thus each company will receive information about its monthly costs according to the bank products and services it uses from UniCredit Bulbank.

“Small business is the main driver of the development of the economy so our task is to be active partners to the small and micro companies“, said Tsvetanka Mintcheva, Deputy Head of Retail Banking in UniCredit Bulbank. She also explained that the bank strives to know in detail the companies’ business activity and to offer them accordingly conditions matching the need for suitable banking products and price conditions.

UniCredit Bulbank is a leader on the market of small and medium-sized companies, accounting for a market share of 13%. In addition, for the last two years the Bank has managed to increase the number of its customers from the segment faster than the average levels for the banking sector.
