The assets managed with Pioneer Investment Plan have exceeded EUR 1 mio

Pioneer Investments reduces the entry fees for investments in the mutual funds it offers with up to 50%. Clients will receive discounts according to the invested amount. Until now the entry fee for the sub-funds in shares was 5%. For example, for investment of up to EUR 5 thousand, it will be reduced down to 4%, and for an investment exceeding EUR 100 thousand – to 2.5%.

“The situation on the financial markets and the impact of the political decisions in setting the direction of their movement require measures in order to encourage the investment activity“, said Yavor Achev, Head of Pioneer Investments for Bulgaria. In his opinion the reduction of the costs for investments in the funds is a gesture to the clients in times of strong volatility on the markets.

If they have more than one investment in Pioneer mutual funds, the clients may receive even a bigger discount according to the amount of all investments made over a specific period.

Pioneer Investments is number 1 on the mutual funds market in Bulgaria with assets under management as of October 2011 amounting to EUR 95 mio. Due to the volatile movements on the capital markets as early as last year Pioneer provided the opportunity to its clients to invest in the funds of the managing company via Pioneer Investment Plan. This product allows choice of a monthly installment starting from EUR 20. According to the experts, precisely with investments of small amounts but regularly, the market volatility can be reduced.

The assets under management of Pioneer Investment Plan exceeded EUR 1 mio and as of 31 October stood at EUR 1,091 mio. The active investment plans total 7,700, out of which 3,300 have been registered since the beginning of 2011.
