Lyubomir Punchev, Head of Retail Banking of UniCredit Bulbank, becomes a member of the Bank’s Management Board

In the Management Board Lyubomir Punchev will be responsible for development of the retail banking, which is a key priority of UniCredit Bulbank. The bank has over 1 million active customers.

Punchev has 15 years experience in the banking sector and was appointed on numerous managerial positions in Bulbank. He starts his professional career in Bubank in 1993 as a Short Term Assets and Liabilities management Expert. For 4 years he is a Branch Director of Bulbank’s branch in Vidin. In January 2001 he was appointed Head of Retail Banking in Bulbank and from 2005 he is a member of the Management Board. Lyubomir Punchev had a leading role in the integration process of Retail Banking divisions of UniCredit Group banks in Bulgaria. He was responsible for the launching of new products and services of the combined UniCredit Bulbank.

Lyubomir Punchev is Master of International Economic Relations from UNWE and Master from International Financial University at Business school – Manchester. He speaks fluently English, Russian and Serbian.
