UniCredit Bulbank and international insurance company AIG Bulgaria struck an agreement in favour of UniCredit Bulbank’s clients. This agreement allows current and future cardholders of UniCredit Bulbank to receive financial aid for themselves and their family in case of trouble only against a minimal fee.

Due to the Law for Distant Financial Services, each cardholder of UniCredit Bulbank can receive “Care” insurance from AIG Bulgaria which is valid all over the world. This kind of insurance can be received by making a telephone call and clients will need to meet neither insurance mediators, nor bank officials. Telephone call is recorded which guarantees the security. Clients receive free of charge their insurance note via courier.

The opening month of the insurance “Care” is free for cardholders of UniCredit Bulbank as a compliment to bank’s clients. During this period of time cardholders may estimate whether the product is suitable for them or not. Thus if the client estimates that the insurance “Care” does not satisfy him/her then he/she may reject it without to owe anything. In case than client ends the insurance in the frames of second month then the already paid premium will be refunded fully in case of lack of damages. “Care” insurance is monthly insurance and the premium is transferred automatically to AIG from the client’s card account after a request from his side.

Clients may choose individual insurance which starts from BGN 6.85 per month which covers stay in a hospital after an accident or illness in Bulgaria and abroad, as well as full lasting loss of ability to work. BGN 13.65 per month is a family insurance which covers the above mentioned but for the whole family.
