UniCredit Bulbank would like to inform you that with the purpose of facilitating the process of the card payments by decreasing the transaction processing time without reducing the security level of the customer’s authentication, the software of POS terminals, offered by the Bank, will be updated in a way that when Chip & PIN based transactions are performed instead of the line “Cardholder signature” on the receipt will be displayed “No signature required”.
The change has reflected in the new General Terms and Conditions on servicing payments with local and international cards on POS terminal of the Bank which you can find published in the Sections Small Business and Corporate Clients.
For the merchants who have concluded an “Agreement on servicing payments with local and international cards on real POS terminal”, the change will become effective dated on 19.09.2013, and in order to receive the updated document “Instruction for acceptance of payments with bank cards at POS terminal”, you need to contact your relationship manager.
For all new merchants the change will take effect with signing of the “Agreement on servicing payments with local and international cards on real POS terminal”.
