The Bulgarian economy on the verge of the new decade
In early 2010, investors were pretty bearish about the outlook of Bulgarian economy. Annual GDP growth was forecasted to go down in between 2.5% and 1%. Eventually economy surprised on the upside.
Now, in early 2011, optimism is coming back. Government sounds most enthusiastic, while business’ representatives take a more cautions view. In contrast, households remain skeptical about the outlook of the economy over the next 12 months.
