• The funds will be used for investment and working capital loans to SME
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and UniCredit Bulbank sign an agreement for EUR 40 mio credit line. The funds from the loan will be used for investment and working capital loans to small and medium-sized enterprises as well as for companies employing up to 3,000 people.
„The agreement we sign is yet another good news for the Bulgarian business before Christmas. The credit line conditions envisage covering up to 100% from the project value with the loans, which means that the best entrepreneurs can rely on financing to make their ideas come true”, said Levon Hampartzoumian, CEO and MB Chairman of UniCredit Bulbank.
„UniCredit Bulbank is one of our most reliable partners. This is the fifth loan, given to UniCredit Bulbank after the successful fulfillment of the first four credit lines since 1999. The funds on this loan can be used by SMEs, municipalities and bigger companies as well as for financing energy efficiency projects”, said Jean-Marc Martin, Deputy Head of Division Lending operations in Bulgaria, Romania and Cyprus.
The loans disbursed from the credit line will be for periods from 2 to 12 years. There will be funds from the loan devoted to municipal projects and energy efficiency funding with possibility for obtaining subsidies from the EU in case of successful projection implementation.
