The Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders of Bulbank, held today in the premises of the Bank, made changes in the Supervisory Board of the Bank.
The new Chairman of the Board is Mr. Paolo Fiorentino, Deputy General Manager of UniCredito and Director of New Europe Division replacing Mr. Roberto Nicastro. The shareholders voted Mr. Jan Bielecki to replace Mr. Alois Steinbichler as member of the Supervisory Board.
Mr. Alessandro Decio was presented to the shareholders as the new Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank and Chief Operating Officer after Mr. Lovaglio was appointed to his new position in Bank Pekao, Poland. The appointment of Mr. Decio requires receiving a certificate from Bulgarian National Bank.

Paolo Fiorentino (1956)
The career of Mr. Fiorentino in UniCredito started in 1981. After having had different responsible positions, in 1999 Paolo Fiorentino was appointed to manage the process of integration and transfer of know-how among structures of the Group. In the same year he became Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Bank Pekao, Poland. As of August 2003 Mr. Fiorentino became Deputy General Manager of UniCredito and Head of New Europe Division.
Jan Bielecki (1951)
Jan Bielecki was Prime Minister of Poland in 1991 and for two years after that he was Minister for European Integration and Aid in the Government of Poland. In 1993 Mr. Bielecki was appointed Director for Poland, Bulgaria and Albania of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Alessandro Decio (1966)
In October 2002 Alessandro Decio is appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer of Zagrebacka Banka. Before that Mr. Decio was Director Strategies, Planning and Control in UniCredito responsible for macroeconomic researches and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, coordinating the restructuring programmes of New Europe banks.
