Andrea Casini, Chief Operative Officer and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of UniCredit Bulbank becomes the Deputy Chairman of the Euro Club at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)

Mr. Casini will be formally introduced to the Euro Club members today at 4.30 pm in the BCCI premises at 9 Iskar Str. He is going to make presentation on “Specialization of the production sectors of the European market and the role of Bulgaria as a member of EU”. At today’s meeting of the EUClub His Excellency the Ambassador of the French Republic Mr. Etienne de Poncins will present the priorities for the French chairmanship of the EU.

The united UniCredit Bulbank has been a partner of the Euro Club at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry since November 2003, when the Club has joined the international network of European clubs of UniCredit Group.

The Euro Club at BCCI was founded in 2000 as an initiative of the Euro Info Center under the aegis and with the financial support of the European Commission.

The Club is an official partner and negotiator between European institutions, Bulgarian business and Bulgarian government. Representatives of all these groups are members of the Club as well as diplomats and journalists.

Mr. Casini is a professional banker. He started his career in 1987 as a Branch Director of Credito Italiano in Brescia. He has had a numerous managerial positions in Italy and in 2001 becomes a Head of Corporate Banking in UniCredit Group in CEE countries. From 2002 to 2005 he is a Chief Operative Officer of the UniCredit Group banks in Slovakia and Czech Republic.
