UniCredit Bulbank is a partner of the sixth edition of the charity ultramarathon ‘1,000km Balkan Charity Challenge’.
‘1,000km Balkan Charity Challenge’ is a one-of-a-kind initiative on the Balkans which aims at raising funds for charity in Bulgaria and Romania. In Bulgaria, the funds are raised through the BeCause Foundation.

In 10 days the participants cover 1,050 km on the territory of Romania and Bulgaria. The event is not a competition. The daily course (160 km cycling and 59 km running on average) takes 8 hours and 30 minutes, which requires a very good physical condition and stamina of the participants.
