UniCredit Bulbank supports the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award in Bulgaria.

As a Bronze Friend of the initiative, UniCredit Bulbank fosters the Award and its role in the field of youth policy by:

- Supporting young people in Bulgaria in their development of personal skills, growth and self-discipline and the building of team work skills.

- Providing opportunity to young people in Bulgaria to gain international recognition and experience.

- Supporting the social inclusion of young people of disadvantaged backgrounds and living in poor regions.

- Supporting voluntary work as a shared value in society.

- Building a bridge between the business and informal training in the search for motivated and talented employees

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is a programme for personal development of young people, combining practical experience and development of skills through which the young become responsible citizens of the world.

Since its establishment in 1956 more than 8,000,000 young people in 144 countries have already undertaken a number of voluntary and challenging activities joining the Award programme.
