Project and Structured Financing
In addition to the corporate asset-based investment loans, UniCredit Bulbank offers specialized financing for investment undertakings in Bulgaria. Investment requirements for such projects may vary from 2 mln to 50 mln Euro, and, as the case may be, UniCredit Bulbank can either provide direct financing or arrange a syndicated loan or co-financing with the support from international partner banks within the Unicredit Group.
The Bank offers expertise in the following types of investment undertakings:
- mergers & acquisitions
- greenfield and expansion investment projects
- projects involving international financial institutions, international investors and/or other international project participants, private equity investors
- public-private partnership (PPP)
- refinancing of similar projects
Sample projects:
- construction of a hydro power plant
- buy-out of a telecommunications company
- construction of an industrial plant for production of consumer goods, etc.
Terms and conditions for such financings depend on the particular sector and project type.
