UniCredit Leasing EAD and UniCredit Fleet Management EOOD will support their clients affected by the COVID-19 crisis

Both UniCredit Subsidiaries are prepared to support their clients affected by the COVID-19 crisis by offering them specific actions and mechanism to facilitate the servicing of their lease obligations.

Who is it for?

Lessees / Receivers, excluding credit institutions, that:

 

  • Already have or expect to face difficulties in servicing regularly their lease obligations under the signed contract with UniCredit Leasing, in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions introduced by the Law on Measures and Actions during state of emergency, introduced by the Parliament on March 13th, 2020, and the consequences of those.
  • Have signed their lease/financing contract before 31.03.2020.

  • With regular payments or delay up to 90 days, as of March 1st, 2020 on their obligations.

 

How many and what kind of installments can be deferred?

Mechanisms* for postponement, offered by UniCredit Leasing to the clients, are:

 

not later than December 31st, 2020. Interest payable for the period is payable under the contract. After the grace period expires, a new repayment plan is prepared to cover the entire balance of the debt, incl. unpaid principal during the grace period. The new repayment schedule is extended depending on the number of unpaid installments, but by no more than 6 months.

Not later than December 31st, 2020. The due interest for the period is paid according to the original schedule. After the grace period expires, a new repayment plan is prepared with the residual debt, incl. the non-paid principal during the grace period. The new repayment schedule is extended depending on the number of the unpaid installments, but for not more than 6 months.

*The choice of the deferral mechanism is mutually agreed between UniCredit Leasing and its clients.

IMPORTANT: The request may include both overdue installments prior to the applications and regular installments that are not due yet. If, at the date of the request, the lease is regular payer, the deferral applies only in the future – in respect of installments with no maturity date. The date of the request for deferral does not change the total deferral period of up to 6 months, which period expires not later than December 31st, 2020.

How do you apply for deferral?

IMPORTANT: Application for deferral does not require a visit to a branch of UniCredit Leasing. It can be done entirely by contacting your personal leasing relationship manager.

At your disposal is the opportunity to fulfill an online template – for private individuals and for legal entities. After the request submission, our consultant will contact you in order to discuss your needs and to support you with the next steps.

What are the deadlines?

 

  • The deferral request should be applied by contacting your personal leasing relationship manager not later than 22.06.2020

  • The grace period has a maximum term of up to 6 months, which expires by 31.12.2020, with each client having the opportunity to cancel the granted grace period earlier than foreseen and to request preparation of a new repayment plan.

UniCredit Leasing's headquarter is temporarily relocated to the UniCredit Bulbank building at 8 Aksakov Strr.in Sofia.

Working hours for all UniCredit Leasing branches is from 9am to 4pm
