Dual Currency Visualization

All amounts in Bulgarian lev (BGN) prior to the date of the euro introduction for used banking products and services have been converted into euro (EUR) in accordance with the rules for conversion and rounding set out in the Law on the Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria, namely: the numerical value in lev is divided by the full numerical value of the official exchange rate – 1.95583, expressed with six digits including all five digits after the decimal point; the resulting amount is rounded to the second decimal place based on the third decimal place, according to the following mathematical rounding rule: when the third decimal digit is less than five, the second decimal digit remains unchanged; when the third decimal digit is equal to or greater than five, the second decimal digit is increased by one. The official exchange rate is not rounded or shortened during the conversion process.

As of 01.01.2026, the official currency of Bulgaria is the euro.

The values shown in lev are for informational purposes only, in accordance with the legal requirements for dual display in euro and lev. The values in lev are calculated based on the official exchange rate and the rounding rules applied when converting from the official currency – the euro – to lev.
