UniCredit Consumer Financing donated 22,682 leva to SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria

On 13.08.2018 UniCredit Consumer Financing (UCF) donated 22,682 leva to the children and adolescents under the auspices of the programmes of SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria. The funds were raised from 1 June until 30 June 2018 under Together We Make Children’s Dreams Come True campaign. UCF donated 1 lev to SOS Children's Villages for each loan that was granted during the campaign. Zora retail chain also took part in the campaign, doubling the amount of the donation through their stores.

The amount that was raised will be used to cover the expenses related to raising and bringing up the children the Association takes care of.

On 2 July a donation cheque was handed to Ms. Petya Zlateva, the Executive Officer of SOS Children's Villages, by Mr. Ivaylo Glavchovski, CEO of UniCredit Consumer Financing, during a meeting with young people from the Dreamers SOS Youth Home in Sofia.

“It makes us happy that for eight years in a row UniCredit Consumer Financing has continued the good tradition of supporting us. It is important for us to know that we can rely on a long-term corporate partner when looking after the children”, Petya Zlateva said.

“UniCredit Consumer Financing sees fundraising campaigns as an important part of its employees’ lives. They bring us together in difficult times and make many young employees reflect on life's values, thus becoming part of our overall attitude towards reality.

When you have been part of something that is so good and positive for such a long time, you begin to see it as your own personal mission. For the team of UniCredit Consumer Financing this mission is much more than this – it is our duty. Because we know that an act of kindness compels others to do the same and because we know that together we can achieve so much more. We are happy that we proved it once more and that we did our best to bring more smiles to children’s faces”, Ivaylo Glavchovski said.
