Pasquale Giamboi is the new Director of Retail banking in UniCredit Bulbank. He succeeded the position by Liubomir Punchev, who is at an executive position in UniCredit Group as a Director of Sales in Retail banking for Central and Eastern Europe.
Below you can follow the professional path Mr. Giamboi has passed to reach the position he occupies now.
Mr. Giamboi has over 30 years of experience in banking, as he joins Credito Italiano in January 1977. In his career path he had taken a lot of head positions in Retail banking Department of UniCredit. He holds a diploma in Law.
Since 1995 he is responsible for the development of the alternative channels for sales and four years later he becomes a Marketing Director in UniCredit.
In October 2000 he becomes a Director of Retail banking for the Italian banks of UniCredit Group. A year later his charges increase, as he took the position Deputy General Manager of Retail banking for the whole group.
In the period 2003-2008 г. he is a Chief Executive Director of the first bank specialized in mortgage lending in - UniCredit Banca per la Casa. He has been Chief Operational Director of the bank of UniCredit for consumer financing in Italy as well.
From July 2009 till the end of 2010 he manages the Department for Business consulting about banking activity of the group in CEE. From March 2010 to April 2011 he was in the Supervisory Board of Ukrsotsbank of Unicredit in Ukraine.
In October 2004 he is appointed to be the Italian Vise President of the Board of the European Mortgage Federation and from April 2007 till the end of 2008 he was a President of the organization.
