Management, sale and distribution of mutual funds and alternative investment programmes. Pioneer Investments manages over 185 billion EUR of assets as at 31.12.2010 in more than 160 funds.
History of Pioneer Investments
Pioneer Investments has more than 80-years experience in the offering and management of mutual funds. The first mutual fund of Pioneer Investments, Pioneer Fund – founded in 1928, is one of the four oldest funds in the USA.
Pioneer Investments in Bulgaria
Pioneer Investments is the first foreign company for assets’ management offering investment products in Bulgaria in co-operation with UniCredit Bulbank.
Securities (units) of the registered in Luxembourg fund Pioneer Funds are offered in Bulgaria. This fund consists of several sub-funds and represents an “umbrella” type of fund. It gives the investors possibility to choose between one or more investment goals through the investment in one or more sub-funds.
With us the funds have being offered to local and foreign individuals and legal entities (except for citizens of the USA and companies in which capital participate citizens or companies of the USA).
Main notions
- Units – each Sub-fund consists of units, representing registered, dematerialized securities
- Types of operations with units – purchase of units, repurchase of the owned units at any time, transfer of units to third person, convert (replacement) of units from one Sub-fund into another Sub-fund (in the same Class of units only)
Minimum investment amount in Pioneer Funds
- Minimum amount for initial investment is 500 EUR or 500 USD
- Minimum amount for each next investment is 150 EUR or 150 USD
