Cardholders of credit cards, issued by UniCredit Bulbank , may profit from:
- Free of charge insurance “Travel abroad” by AIG Bulgaria Insurance and Reinsurance Company EAD which offers cover of damages, diseases or other inconveniences which may arise abroad. The insurance cover is valid 24 hours per day during the voyage and covers damages which occur all over the world (except Bulgaria). In Bulgaria the insurance covers only the events Death by accident and Full/Permanent work disability. The insurance is activated if the package or the service are bought with the credit card by UniCredit Bulbank or if the card is used at ATM or POS when the cardholder is already abroad. In order the covers to be activated in Bulgaria it is necessary to use the card at ATM or POS in Bulgaria. The specific terms and coverage are handled together with the card;
- Care Insurance by AIG Bulgaria Insurance and Reinsurance Company EAD offered exclusively on the phone - optional. The insurance covers Daily expenditure for hospitalization as a result of accident or disease as well as permanent full work disability. The clients have the opportunity to choose among four types insurance covers and between two packages “Individual” and “Family”. The insurance is monthly with automatic renewal until the moment in which the client rejects in writing at Bank’s branch. - Insurance “Secure Wallet” by AIG Bulgaria Insurance and Reinsurance Company EAD – optional. The insurance covers financial loss as a result of theft or loss of the card; cover of purchases, renewal of personal documents, keys and locks, stolen/lost together with the card, death by accident. The insurance is annual with automatic renewal against a minimum instalment of BGN 23.50 annually in case the amount is available to the account.
