Energy Efficiency Finance Facility with the EBRD (1)
- Energy efficiency in the private companies;
- Types of investments:
o On-site co-generation installations – generation of heat and electricity;
o Rehabilitation and replacement of old gas boilers with condensing boilers;
o Switch from electricity heating to fuel based direct heating;
o Process improvements including enhanced controls;
o Rehabilitation of steam distribution systems;
o Installation of heat recovery from processes;
o Installation of absorption chillers;
o Installation of new chillers
o Installation of Variable Speed Drives on selected electric motors;
o Rehabilitation of compressed air systems;
o Rehabilitation of power distribution systems;
o Implementation of Energy Management Systems or Building Management Systems;
o Implementation of energy saving measures in the built environment.
- Requirement – the project must lead to minimum 20% savings of the energy consumption;
- Currency – Euro;
- Maximum loan amount under this credit line: € 2,500,000;
- Grant aid – 15% of the loan amount disbursed.
